Marwan Khoury, is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and composer, and he is considered to be one of the most respected Lebanese and Arab artists. His works have been nationally and globally recognized with worldwide track adaptations in many different languages. He has performed in prestigious venues such as the Opera House of Egypt and Carthage in Tunisia.
In 1986, he enrolled at the “Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik” (USEK) where he studied Piano, Musicology and Music History. During his years of study, Marwan received many prizes including Best Composer; an award presented by the President of the Lebanese Republic.
Marwan started his career as a keyboard player and music conductor.

In 1996, he released his first single “Fik Yamma Balak”, a song which quickly established him wide recognition as a very talented singer, promising songwriter and composer as well. But not till 1999 did his career as a songwriter and composer take off like a storm when he composed the hit singles “Tia” (تيّا) and “Dalouna” (الدلعونا), followed by “Az Al Habayeb” (عز الحبايب) and many others to follow.
When 2001 came along, Marwan launched his second album “Khayal Al Omer” with “Relax-In”; an album solely written and composed by Marwan, setting the standard for all of his albums to come. From its first release, the album was a success and highly praised by critics and listeners as well. In the very next year, he shot his first music video “Ya Shog”.
In 2004, he landed a five-year contract with the Label Company “Rotana” and released his first mega-hit album “Kil Al Asayed”. This success was followed by other similar success stories with the following albums “Asr Al Shoo” in 2006, “Ana Willeil” in 2008 and “Rajiine” in 2010.
Furthermore, his success as a singer has been due to the fact that some famous artists have made the charts by using Marwan’s renditions and among them are; Majida Al Roumi: “Ahoubouka Jeddan” and “Ghanny Lelhob”, Carole Samaha: “Italaa Fiyi” and “Khalik Behalak”.
