Credited with reviving the ancient Muwashahat in our modern times, Sabah Fakhri presented Muwashahat with the popular Qudud from his native Aleppo, with his powerful tenor voice, and his charismatic delivery.For over 50 years Sabah Fakhri brought Muwashahat back into our homes and into our hearts. Sabah also worked with contemporary artists and throughout his career remained true to the artistic heritage of his homeland, Syria.
Sabah Fakhri’s name is enshrined in the Guinness Book of Records for his prowess in Caracas, Venezuela, where he sang continuously for 10 hours without pause.
This CAO production, brings you the best of Sabah Fahkri’s musical legacy by a group of musicians and vocalists dedicated to honouring this giant of Arabic Arts & Culture. .
